1. Introduction

This policy describes how the app “Invoiced” handles your data. The core philosophy is privacy by design. Any data captured will be held securely on your device only.

2. Data Collection and Usage

This app allows you to manually enter details which will be used to generate a document.

• User-Entered Data: You may enter information used to identify people (names, addresses, email, phone numbers), activity/service information, payment information, and dates into the app.
• Purpose: The data will be solely used for the technical operation of generating invoices as requested inside the app.
• Automatic Technical Collection: The app does not automatically collect personal information. However, it does collect technical diagnostic data in the event of an app crash or error (see Section 4).

3. Data Storage

All data collected by the app will be stored on the device and will not be sent to a remote server.

• Local Storage: All data which is entered into the app will be stored on the local device only via an SQLite database. The database is encrypted using SQLCipher to secure the data.
• Access: We (the developers) have no technical means to access, view, or share your data. It will stay on the device until you choose to delete it or remove the app.

4. Error Reporting and Diagnostics

To ensure the app remains stable and bug-free, we use Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) to monitor for crashes and technical errors.

• Data Collected: If an error occurs, the app may send a report containing technical details such as device type, operating system version, and the internal code path.
• Exclusion of Personal Data: Diagnostic reports are intended to be anonymous and do not include the contents of your invoices or your local database.

5. AI and Third-Party Services

• Offline Generation: All processing is performed locally on the device. There is no communication with external apps or servers.
• No Third-Party AI: None of the data entered is shared with third-party artificial intelligence services or cloud-based processors.
• No Ads/Tracking: The app does not contain any third-party tracking for marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

As the user, you have full control. You can delete specific data within the app. Furthermore, all data is permanently deleted when the app is uninstalled and cannot be recovered.

7. Children’s Privacy

The app is safe for all ages as it does not transmit any captured personal data. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect new features. If updated, the amendment date at the top of this page will change.
